Geometry Reflection

Where to start? This unit was rather confusing due to all of the different rules that apply to angles and arcs...but I must say, that the unit overall wasn't too bad. It had its share of difficult points, but now that I get most of it, its not that difficult anymore. Good luck on the test everyone, and hopefully we'll all pass...right? :(

circle geometry

This unit was very very hard. I didn't really understand some of it. I can say that this wasn't one of my best units. the concepts were hard to understand. but I'll try my best on this test. Good luck to everyone!!!!!

CIRCLE GEOMETRY REFLECTION

Hey guys, it's Ivanna again. I know I always say I hate every unit, but I REALLY hate this one. I found this unit to be extremely difficult because the concepts weren't straight forward. I can't elaborate much on it because I was lost the whole time. I also disliked "proving" a circle. The only highlight of this unit was the homework, there wasn't very much of it (thank goodness!). I really hope I can pass this test with at least a 50. Good luck everybody.

geometry/circles

ei guys, it's Luis posting. Whoah! this unit is so hard for me! i dont like circles and i dont know if i'll be able to pass the exam or not. Anyways, good thing i remebered to blogged! hehe (extra mark). Uhm, though this unit is really confusing, i'l try my best to nail it! haha. Wish me luck! =)

Geometry/Circle Thingies

Hey guys, it's Jackie posting. For one thing, I would like to say that this unit about circles (and one lesson about basic geometrical figures) has a lot of completely easy aspects and stunningly confusing aspects around it. I'm sure that we can all figure out the basics that have to do with the dimater, radius, angles this, angles that .. even the lessons about the tangent wasn't so bad. I think that because I missed those few classes, I had a hard time understanding what an arc was. I'd have to say I didn't completely understand the concept until 2-3 classes later, lol. I just have to say that Kevin is a great help in explaining anything to do with PRE-CAL and he is such a genius. Anyways, asides from some confusing terminology, this unit wasn't so bad. I really do hope that the test isn't going to be as hard as I think it will - which is probably just jinxing my luck right there. -_-; Anyways, good luck everyone. See you this afternoon.

Geometry

I just want to say I don't like circles. It's kinda confusing. I think the hardest one is proving. I hope the questions in the test are similar to the exercises. I did those exercises, but when I look back the questions last night, it was confusing again. I hope I can remember the concepts. Good luck! ^.^

ANALYTIC GEOMETRY

This unit about circles and what not, was kind of confusing.
Having to remember inscribed is 1/2 the central, for example,
and all those other rules, oh gosh, that was tough to learn and
remember.
I think the hardest part is knowing which law to apply to what
question.
The part I liked about this unit, even though it's really hard to
do, is finding the labelled angles when you're given limited info
about the cirlce and it's tangents and what not. Sure, it's tricky,
but when you're done and you find out that you got the right answer,
it makes me feel like i accomplished something.

GOOD THING I REMEMBERED TO BLOG! .. good luck on your
test everyone (:

Test day

Sorry I wasn't there today. I wasn't feeling very well.
For all those who blogged, yes you will still get the mark even though it wasn't asked for on the test.
I hope the test went well for all, I'll have them marked in a couple days.
Tomorrow we start functions

Geometry

Okay, so 2nd last test for math, yay! something 2 b happy about =D this unit was kind of confusing b/c if u missed 1 part of figuring out the circle measurements, it screwed u up. doing some of the exercises helped, but i guess i just have 2 remember all the rules. I sort of got confused w/ the angles being the same if it was on opposite sides and going the same way. Anywho, good luck on the test you guys!

Geometry Reflection

Well this has got to be one of my least favorite unit of all!! I mean it was weird! It stinks! Plus it took a while to understand!! You get the point?? Now I just hope that there won't be any questions that I have never seen before. Also that I remember some of the rules and steps of the other units, that I have probably forgotten how it works. Well good luck on the test!

Note : I despise the proving of an angle or etc, and trying to find an angle that involves with a little trick or so....

Hey guys. Well to be honest, I would have to say that this unit kinda sucked. I've come to the conclusion that I do not like circles. I understood most of the concepts, but some of them were confusing. The thing I didnt like the most was having to prove why or how the properties led you to your answer. Yeah so good luck everyone (:

hey guys ! Well this unit I have to say was my least favorite . I really don't like all the proving and stating why my answer is that. it was very hard to understand some of the concept, but I think doing the pre test in class today helped a little. I think I get most of the concept and hopefully that will be okay for the test tomorrow. Okay guys this is my post ! Good luck boys and girls =)

Geometry Reflection

Gee, it been a while. Anyway, I missed a couple of classes; that probably made it confusing for me. Now circles and triangles and angles aren't really difficult...they are just really confusing. There are a bunch of rules and such that will be hard to review but this unit wasn't too difficult. Yup. That's about all I have to say. Good luck on the test and also for the Go For Gold, you high achievers!!

analytical geometry reflection

Hey guys, it's Jackie posting. I have tons of homework left to do and I have yet to complete my pre-cal test on this unit, so I guess I'll make this short and sweet. The analytical geometry unit was probably by far one of the hardest units for me, on the most part because I wasn't really paying attention in class, haha. Well, anyways, that's my fault, but however, I do believe that most of the aspects of this unit were pretty straight-forward and simple to understand, they just take a lot of practicing in order to get a hang of. Otherwise, I think that I will not do that great on this test so I'm going to have to study hard tonight, as well as finish my math dictionary. -_-; Better get on it. Haha, so anyways .. have a good night guys.

Analytic Geometry Reflection

hello..Im Luis. umm, analytic geometry is one of the hardest unit in precal...and im having a hard time to solve some problems..especially if its a fraction..huh, i hate that!! anyways, wish me luck tomorrow. have a good day!..=)

Monday's class

Don't forget we start a new unit on Monday. You need to have a ruler, protractor, pencil etc, to class on Monday to use during this unit.
Don't forget!!

RELFECTION ON ANALYTIC GEOMETRY

I thought this unit was difficult, but much easier to understand than the Algebra unit. I thought the distance and circle equations were the easiest to comprehend and the 3 variable equations were the hardest. I didn't mind the homework because I found it to be fun, for once. I don't think I'm gonna do too well on the test, but much better than the last one. Good luck to everybody.

blogging on blogging #4

This unit, analytic geometry was one of the most unit i hate in math because it so has so much of calculation and graph. I think i'll still be good in the test because im trying my best to solve every problem here. good luck to everyone.

Analytic Geometry Reflection

This unit is okay at the beginning until it got the hardest part of the unit... The 3 variable system. It is pretty predictable about why it is hard since a lot of people complained (including me). So good luck on the test everyone!

Reflection

I think this unit was okay. The hardest one was three variables systems. It takes long time for me to solve a question, sometimes I made mistakes and I have to start in the very beginnig. I don't very like three variables systems. Good luck to everyone - today's test. ^.^

ANALYTIC GEOMETRY

Hmm, reflection time! ha. Mmm, this unit was, well, it was math. I can't really say it was easy, but it wasn't soo soo hard that i wanted to rip my hair out. The part I liked best was solving for 3-variable equations, I struggled, but it was still "fun." ha! The easiest part, was the sign diagrams, cause it's just a number line. Another interesting part was the inequalities on a calculator, the way it shaded amazed me. LOL! 8) But yeah, test tmrw, soo GOOD LUCK GUYS .. and especially to me, I'll need it.

Reflection

This unit was okay. It wasn't my best unit but I gradually began to understand it. The hardest part for me was the inequalities. They were a little difficult to figure out and to know how to use the sign diagrams properly.

analytic geometry

Analytic geometry was ok. I think the easiest thing was probably two variable equations because all you had to do was either solve for x or y. Then came three variable equations where you had to solve for x, y and z. That was just horrible. It was so much work! It wasted trees. lol well anyways yeah. I hope I do ok on the test tomorrow! Good luck to me and everyone else!

Analytic Geometry Reflection

Yay, summer is on its way!
It's Jennie .. K, well analytic geometry, i thought, was the easiest unit.. but that's b4 the test.. anywho.. i thought the easiest part was solving for the 2 & 3 variable systems, though sometimes i had to look over my work for mistakes. the parts that were kind of confusing for me at first was drawing out the line and knowing where to shade it in, but once i understood how to do that, i had an easier understanding of the rest.

Reflection

I think that analytic geometry was overall okay. There wasn't anything that was too hard about it. The only topic that i really didnt like, were the 3 variable systems. Although it wasnt that they were a difficult concept to comprehend, they were just more or less frustrating. Other than that i didnt find anything else to be too complicated. So yeah good luck on our test tomorrow guys (:
